Our Services
Based in the Macarthur/Camden region of Sydney, Move Play Grow OT provides occupational therapy services for children aged 0-18 years. If your child is facing challenges in any aspect of daily life, we’re here to help! From handwriting, dressing, catching the bus, and focusing in the classroom to managing big emotions, sensory processing, play skills, and sports participation—whatever the challenge, our team is ready to support your child in gaining confidence and independence.
At Move Play Grow OT, family is at the heart of everything we do. We encourage parents and caregivers to be involved in therapy sessions, ensuring you can continue supporting your child’s progress at home. Our experienced team takes the time to understand your child’s unique needs and matches you with the right therapist for the best possible outcomes.
We’re passionate about helping kids move, play, and grow in a fun and supportive environment. Whether in the clinic, at school, or out in the community, we’re here to help every step of the way.

The start of MPG OT…
“I opened Move Play Grow OT with a vision to create a space where children feel empowered, families feel supported, and therapists feel inspired. I wanted to build more than just a clinic—I wanted a community where every child’s strengths are celebrated, where therapy is fun and meaningful, and where families are truly part of the journey. Watching kids grow in confidence and independence is the heart of what we do, and that’s why Move Play Grow OT exists.”

Comprehensive Assesments
& Individual Reports
What it involves
At Move Play Grow Occupational Therapy, assessments are the first step in understanding a child’s strengths, challenges, and areas for development. These comprehensive evaluations involve gathering insights from parents and caregivers, conducting clinic observations, and using formal and informal assessment tools to build a clear picture of the child’s needs. This process helps us identify key areas to support, whether in motor skills, sensory processing, attention, behavior, or daily activities.
Assessments typically take up to 120 minutes, depending on the child’s needs and family preferences. Following the assessment, we prepare a detailed report that includes formal test results, caregiver concerns, and clinical observations. From there, we work closely with families to set meaningful intervention goals, using the report to guide a personalized therapy plan designed to help each child move, play, and grow with confidence.
Individual Therapy
What it involves
IAt Move Play Grow OT, our 1:1 therapy sessions are designed to help children work towards their individualized goals in a fun, supportive, and structured environment. These sessions are based on the goals set during the initial assessment and are tailored to each child’s unique strengths and challenges. Therapy is offered on a weekly or fortnightly basis, with 30 or 45-minute sessions held at our Gledswood Hills Clinic or, when appropriate, at the child’s preschool or school for added convenience. Sessions are delivered in blocks of 10, after which progress is reviewed, strategies are provided to parents, and new goals are established as needed.
Our therapy approach is evidence-based, family-centered, and focused on sensory integration to ensure meaningful and lasting progress. Each session is designed to engage, motivate, and challenge the child in ways that support their development while making therapy enjoyable. By working closely with families, we ensure that progress continues beyond the clinic, empowering parents with strategies to support their child’s growth at home and in everyday life.
Group Therapy
What it involves
At Move Play Grow OT, we offer a variety of term-based group programs designed to target specific developmental goals in a fun and supportive environment. These groups run throughout the school term, focusing on areas such as social skills, motor development, and school readiness. Our structured programs are designed to provide consistency, engagement, and progress for children in a group setting.
In addition to our term-based programs, we also run school holiday groups, focus groups, and special Christmas-themed groups, offering exciting opportunities for children to build new skills while having fun. Whether your child needs extra support in social interaction, fine and gross motor development, or preparing for school, we have a group program tailored to their needs. If your school or center is interested in hosting a group, we can also customize programs to align with specific goals.
Some of our most popular groups include:
- Ready Set Prep (School Readiness)
- Yoga and mindfulness
- Arts & Crafts
- Messy Play
- Parent Support Nights
- Gaming (Nintendo based) and Board Games
- Half-Day Activities & Community Engagement
