Maria Perco
Founder/ Paediatric Occupational Therapist BHlthSc/MOT
Maria is the director and founder of Move Play Grow Occupational Therapy and is a passionate paediatric occupational therapist. Maria graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Health Science/ Masters of Occupational Therapy.
Maria has worked with children and adolescents with mild to severe intellectual disability, behavioural issues, sensory processing disorders, motor and coordination difficulties and learning delays for a range of diagnoses. Maria has a particular interest in working with preschool children and has developed our program ‘Sense Ready for School’ – a school readiness program which takes a multisensory approach which she runs each term.
Maria takes a family-centred approach to therapy and enjoys working closely with families and their children to ensure quality therapy. Maria has completed additional education in sensory integration and takes a sensory approach when working with many of her clients. She is an Occupational Therapy Australia member and continues to develop her clinical and professional skills.
Natalie Muscat
Paediatric Occupational Therapist BAppSc/OT
Natalie is a qualified Occupational Therapist whose work is driven by the belief that every child has the right to access education, quality of life, and enjoyment in everyday activities.
She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at the University of Sydney. Since then, she has extended her training to be skilled and further qualified in D.I.R Floortime and is also a Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Instructor. Natalie values a sensory approach to intervention, which has been implemented when working with children, both with and without diagnoses. Natalie is enthusiastic about encouraging learning through play and applying those skills to every-day activities.
Natalie has experience in facilitating therapeutic group sessions as well as providing continued education training for preschool educators and parents. Natalie is a current member of Occupational Therapy Australia.
